day 2 – SL

By September 19, 2022 AD Tech

We stepped off the train this morning to gale force winds coming over the ridge.  We had to walk leaning forward at a 45 degree angle to make any headway.  We were not too optimistic about the training but once we got on the slope it was much more protected and fairly calm.  We were able to pull off a great slalom session.  The snow was firm and the coaches set an “hourglass” course which tested the tactics and got everybody moving quick on their feet once again. A good start to our slalom block.
