SAAS FEE, Switzerland. Sept 15-Oct 1st (travel days): 12 days of training on the Saas Fee Glacier and daily afternoon activities regardless of the weather. We have 3 former Olympians, Marco, Anna and Dane to lead the coaching charge and a PG athlete (TBA) to help set pace and be a mentor for the athletes. This camp is limited to 20 FIS and U16 athletes. We have amazing accommodations and fantastic Swiss cuisine to keep the athletes fueled up for long days of activities, and also some dedicated time blocks for homework each day.
Projected Dates May 11-15, 2024 is for FIS athletes birth year 2008 and older. At this camp we focus on advanced speed skills including aerodynamics, tactics, jumping and mental training. We train 3 days of Super G and two days of downhill. This camp is built for athletes who have some speed experience and are looking to take it to the next level. Our coaching staff of Olympians will share how they made their breakthroughs in the speed disciplines and make sure that you have the tools to safely and confidently attack the race course.
Projected Dates May 17-21, 2024 This session is for U16 athletes. This camp is open to birth years 2009-2010. Our coaching staff of more than a dozen Olympians do our best to pass on what we know over the course of 5 days. On hill training consists of speed tactics, jumping technique, aerodynamics and inspection skills. We use all the terrain that Mammoth has to offer and make it into our playground. In the afternoons we split up for different dryland activities daily. This is the camp where we teach the next generation how to safely race the speed disciplines and it is the best.
