Hello! Jet lag has gotten the best of me the past two nights – but we are here in Saas Fee and starting to adapt to the time change! We had a great first day free skiing and doing drills on the glacier. The surface was great – icy/grippy – and we got lots of runs in to get back into it. After skiing on day 1 we went for a short hike and did some Kneipping – getting the blood flowing from our feet up through cold tubbing and walking on wood chips and gravel. It’s a thing here, and we love it!
Today, we unfortunately got rained out for skiing. We went for a little adventure instead and took the bus to Saas Grund and then took the Hosaas gondolas up to a glacial lake. Some of the girls braved the freezing water and went for a swim! It was a beautiful hike that overlooked a cool glacier. The weather has cleared up and we are hopeful for a great day tomorrow!
