After 6 wind delays they finally called it and shut down the mountain. Luckily, most of us got to wait it out in the comfort of the hotel! Once skiing was cancelled we decided to head out on one of our favorite hikes that takes you up along the ridge above the “gletscher grotte” (the place where the glacier used to end, and across a hillside all the way up to the Hannig gondola. It was gorgeous as always!
Tomorrow looks better and we’re hoping to get a solid GS block in over the next few days.
