We are back in Mammoth for our seventh year of speed camps! Again, with an incredible staff and a group of motivated athletes. This week we have our FIS group getting dialed with their SG & DH skis. Despite some variable weather conditions, we have been making the most of each day thanks to our amazing staff and athletes. Our first two days of sg were volume heavy, getting comfortable on the skis and running lots of laps. Dryland has been run by a different coach each day and has been fun and challenging. Our FIS staff this year comprises of: Keely Cashman, Tricia Mangan, Allison Mollin, Daron Rahlves, Steven Nyman, Dane Spencer, Randy Pelkey, and Marco & Anna Sullivan. A great blend of current athletes, coaches, and retired Olympians!
A cool new thing that we have this year is Protern on board to help us with video analysis, timing, and a bunch of metrics that can help the athletes improve. It’s been cool to see the athletes light up at the opportunity to look at their skiing from a new perspective and see all sorts of stats that can have big impacts on their overall ski racing.
